Hallmarks of junior cohort

The Head Start Framework

Many high school students either engage in unrelated activities they lack passion for or reach college application season without significant extracurriculars. In our early strategy sessions, we assess each student's strengths, weaknesses, and passions, then design a personalized roadmap to help them pursue impactful, niche-specific activities that enhance their college profiles.

Research Fellowships

Conducting impactful research in high school demands time, mentorship, and access to the right resources. Our Pathfinder Research Program enables students to engage in meaningful computational research across diverse fields such as Genomics, Machine Learning, Public Health, and Economics—often leading to publications in respected journals and conferences.

For instance, Nur-E-Jannat Anika leveraged Machine Learning to research Parkinson’s disease, earning her acceptance into international conferences and securing a prestigious spot as a Pulver Science Scholar (A Full-Ride Scholarship) at Colby College, home to the Davis Institute for Artificial Intelligence.

Scholarly Explorations

A core component of our program is strengthening students' critical reading skills, which not only enhances standardized test performance—70% of Adroit students score over 1500 on the SAT—but also fosters a well-rounded intellectual foundation.

We expose students to a diverse range of texts spanning Political Philosophy, Bioethics, Paleontology, Quantum Theory, and more, preparing them for the rigorous liberal arts curriculum at top U.S. colleges.

For example, Soumitro Shovon, initially focused on Mathematics and Mathematical Olympiads, discovered a passion for Neuroscience and Biomathematics through Adroit’s Critical Reading Program. This newfound interest has shaped his academic journey at Rhodes College.

Experiential Learning

Many students enter our Junior Cohort with little to no extracurricular experience. We help them build a compelling profile by connecting them to scientific workshops, national and international competitions, leadership programs, capstone projects, and prestigious summer opportunities like Yale Young Global Scholars, European Space Camp, etc.

Take Tasnim Islam, for example—his passion for Chemistry and Neuroscience led him to pursue multiple research projects, advanced coursework, and ultimately secure a full-ride to Kenyon College.
