The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition (QCEC) 2025 is now open for submissions, inviting young writers from across the Commonwealth to share their perspectives on the theme “Our Commonwealth Journey.” This prestigious competition, organized by the Royal Commonwealth Society, offers participants the opportunity to gain international recognition, develop their writing skills, and win a fully funded trip to London for a week of educational and cultural events, culminating in a special awards ceremony at a royal palace.
About the Competition
Established in 1883, the QCEC is the world’s oldest international schools’ writing competition. It aims to foster literacy, creativity, and critical thinking among young people throughout the Commonwealth. Each year, thousands of students participate, making it a significant platform for youth expression and engagement.
